Essie leads the studio and its creative direction. Carolina works alongside her, assisting in the studio while developing her own perspective and approach to hair. Together, they bring experience, curiosity, and a shared standard to every appointment.

With more than a decade behind the chair, Essie is the founder of Cosmos Studios and an experienced stylist specializing in dimensional color, extensions, and transformative services. She blends hair science, creativity, intuition, and honest guidance to create results tailored to each person. Essie created Cosmos as an elevated yet welcoming space where every client feels understood, cared for, and confidently themselves.

Carolina De Jesus

Carolina grew up around hair salons, spending a lot of her time watching her mom work as a stylist. That early exposure naturally turned into a love for hair, beauty, and the creative side of the industry. She’s drawn to fun colors, good conversations, and anything that lets her put her own spin on things. She’s easygoing, social, and probably going to turn a quick conversation into a full yap session. Most importantly, she’s not interested in fitting into one specific mold She’s always been comfortable being herself, and that definitely shows in her style and the way she works.
